* GM and Ford sales down; Ford to announce turnaround plan: GM's sales fell 10.3% yoy, with car sales down 19.4% and trucks down 4.7%. F sales declined 9% yoy, with car sales falling 5.8% and truck sales falling 10.3%. F said that it would announce details of its North American turnaround plan on January 23rd.
* Chrysler sales down 4.9%: Chrysler's sales fell 4.9% yoy, with cars down 9.7% and trucks down 3.8%.
