About Quality Silver Bullion
Quality Silver Bullion operated for more than a decade by selling silver online. At the beginning of 2020, the company was acquired by Regency Mint. The old company website no longer functions as a marketplace, and all sales go through Regency Mint instead.
The QSB website still exists, though, even though you can no longer make purchases through it. You can see exactly what the company offered before they were acquired by Regency. Rather than specializing in just bullion or coins, the company had a wide range of products available.
QSB Products
As the company name implies, the main focus of the mint was on silver products. They produced silver rounds and fractional silver rounds. You could also purchase coins from the Royal Canadian Mint and United States Mint, which was a great option for people seeking classic government coins.
Some of the silver rounds included Walking Liberty coins in different weights, packages with a combination of different designs, antique pillar dollar rounds, Indian head rounds, and Morgan Silver rounds.
For people who prefer to purchase more niche collectibles, the company offered Divisible Gold Panner rounds, coin replicas of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and one-ounce Silverbugs coins. You could also purchase several fine silver rounds to come wrapped in a gift bag.
The fractional silver rounds are made from a fraction of the original silver. If you don't have enough to invest in a full round, these options let you hold smaller portions of your assets in precious metals. Fractional silver is ideal for liquidating in emergencies.
QSB's fractional rounds came in many shapes and sizes. Some of the options included:
From the US Mint, the company carried popular items like the Silver American Eagle coin. You could purchase these new or get circulated and worn-down coins for a much cheaper price. A Silver Monster Box was available with 500 Silver Eagle coins inside.
The company didn't just sell new and pure coins from the US Mint, though. You could also get piles of junk silver coins with barely any value, junk half dollars with barely any value, and worn-down Morgan Silver Dollars and Peace Dollars.
From the Royal Canadian Mint, you could get the Silver Maple Leaf Coin, the Gold-Plated Silver Maple Leaf, or a discounted damaged Silver Maple Leaf. No other designs were available from the Canadian Mint.
These products are relatively limited, as many have the same design in different weights. In addition, the company didn't seem to have high standards for the coins they sold. Several listings are specifically referred to as "junk" coins.
Gold
Some gold bullion was also available for sale, including bars, rounds, and coins. The company stated that they would buy and sell gold in any condition.
There may have actually been a little more diversity with the gold products than the silver ones. You could get Canadian Maple Leafs and several different coins from the US Mint. You could also get South African, Australian, and Austrian gold coins.
Some bullion was available from Regency Mint Gold, which is a privately owned mint. Regency Mint is one of the most popular private mints in the industry. QSB sold both their 1/10th ounce and 1 ounce Gold Eagle coins.
Eleven different gold bullion bars were available, many of which came from different mints. You could acquire a gram, an ounce, 2.5 grams, 5 grams, 10 ounces, or 10 grams. The mints included Pamp Suisse, the Perth Mint, the Royal Canadian Mint, and the Sunshine Mint.
Copper
Copper isn't one of the most in demand precious metals on the market, but it is still worthwhile. The company sold copper bullion that was minted at .999 purity standards. They did state that if you were looking to make an investment, gold and silver were more highly recommended than copper.
The copper bullion available included:
The company did not have any "junk" copper or copper bars for sale.
Blanks
Blanks are rounds that haven't been stamped with a design yet. The company sold blanks in different diameters with several different metals.
Brass blanks were available in burnished and tumbled sizes. The burnished ones were the most expensive. You could purchase different quantity packages depending on whether you just wanted a few or several hundred.
Copper blanks were similarly available burnished or tumbled. All of them were sold in quantities of 100, though, except for the 47 millimeter option. This was the largest blank on the market, and you could only purchase a package with a quantity of 50.
The company had just two options for silver blanks, significantly less than their copper and brass offerings. You could purchase a burnished or tumbled set of 100 blanks at 39 millimeters. There were no other package quantities or sizes available.
Commemorative Coins
For people searching for something special for their loved one, the company offered commemorative coins. Most of these were birthday and Christmas coins, but there were also designs for occasions such as:
Several of the Christmas coins came with a free engraving, so you could get the intended recipient's name printed on them. They had fun designs like reindeer, Santa, and snowmen.
The birthday coins could all be personalized with an engraving as well. There was a silver heart coin, a coin for new babies, a coin for birthday boys, and a coin for birthday girls.
Accessories
Instead of only selling precious metals, the company also offered accessories for avid coin collectors. Some of the accessories included:
The company didn't offer gift boxes or wrapping unless you specifically purchased a package that came with a gift bag.
Regency Mint
Regency Mint now operates what used to be Quality Silver Bullion. This company has expanded beyond the reach of precious metals sales, though. They also offer several other services.
The company's main draw is that they do custom minting for people. If you have a design or an engraving you desperately want, you can get a quote to make it happen. Not only does the company mint coins, but they'll also mint keychains and lapels.
Custom Minting
If you want to get an item custom minted, you'll need to go through these steps:
Custom minting jobs usually take anywhere from four to eight weeks to complete.
Is Quality Silver Bullion a Scam?
Quality Silver Bullion is most likely not a scam. But there are a few major red flags that you should be aware of. Not only are they not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, but they don't even have a BBB rating. There isn't enough information about their business practices for the BBB to evaluate them.
Similarly, it's extremely difficult to find trustworthy customer reviews online. The business doesn't appear to have a very big online presence. If you're going to purchase precious metals online, you want to make sure the company you use has a positive customer reputation.
Regency Mint also has no BBB accreditation or rating, even though it's been in business for over 20 years. That's a major red flag. Neither Quality Silver Bullion nor Regency Mint has any customer reviews on their BBB page.
This business likely exists and creates the products it says it does. But we don't have enough information about how they operate to recommend them.

Final Thoughts
Quality Silver Bullion used to sell a limited amount of different precious metals products. Since being acquired by Regency Mint, the company's focus has shifted to custom product minting.
If you want a customized product minted for you, then this company is a solid choice. But if you're just looking to invest in gold and silver, there's not enough information available for us to recommend them. It's hard to find customer reviews online, and there's no rating or accreditation with the BBB.
Plenty of other online precious metals dealers have great customer feedback and stellar marks with the BBB. You might want to check out one of those instead.
Although we do think that Quality Silver Bullion is a solid company, we believe that there are better companies out there to make your investment with.
