Patriot Trading Groups offers a special metals program where individuals can increase their precious metals holdings through monthly contributions. With the metals program, you will set a monthly investment amount, which can be as low as $100, that will help you grow your precious metals portfolio.

You'll receive a shipment of the metals you purchased at the end of the quarter. An invoice and value of each shipment is included to help you see what you were able to purchase over the quarter.

Are There Any Red Flags for Patriot Trading Group?

Before making a big decision, such as where to purchase precious metals from, it is always a good idea to look and see if there are any red flags that may indicate that a company isn't trustworthy and deserving of your business. We've found that past customers can provide you with a lot of insight into the workings of a company and the products and services they offer.

Unless you know tons of people who have personally worked with Patriot Trading Group, the best alternative is to consult online reviews from past customers. Is Patriot Trading Group a scam? No, Patriot Trading Group is a legitimate company that has been in business since 1996. They have two physical locations and offer the products and services detailed on their website.

While all signs indicate that Patriot Trading Group is not a scam, we still would not advise doing business with them. There are a few reasons we'd suggest looking for a different precious metals investment company to work with.

First, Patriot Trading Group doesn't offer a very large selection of gold and silver. Whereas other companies offer dozens, if not hundreds, of gold and silver coins and bars, there are only 10 options displayed on Patriot Trading Group's website. Now, it is possible that more options are available if you call or visit one of their locations, but viewing everything online certainly makes it easier to make an informed decision.

Patriot Trading Group also doesn't offer the opportunity to invest in platinum or palladium. You can only choose from gold and silver coins. Based on the selections shown on their website, they also do not even sell gold and silver bars.

Another strike against Patriot Trading Group is the lack of online reviews. Without being able to see what past customers have to say about a company, it makes it challenging to get a feel for how you'll be treated as a customer.

We also don't see any information on Patriot Trading Groups website about setting up a Precious Metals IRA. Again, this is a service that is offered by many other precious metals investment companies. Setting up a precious metals IRA is a great way to diversify your portfolio and save for retirement.
